Designer's Note
“The layout takes inspiration from the solar system, with the coffee counter positioned at the center as the focus of space.
A dome-like feature composed of layered metal mesh highlights the counter area and incorporates the brand’s familiar Chemex symbol. Seating areas are arranged around the center and extend seamlessly from the indoor space to the outdoor terrace, creating a continuous flow throughout the store. Different seating types, including benches, communal tables, and stools, provide flexibility for both individuals and groups. The brand element displays adopt rounded forms and subtle illuminated elements, reinforcing the overall design language.
By responding to the site’s unique shape, the design seeks to create a comfortable and welcoming environment that supports both the brand identity and the everyday experience of its customers.”
