Designer's Note
The world-famous Nakheel Mall, a landmark on the Palm Jumeirah, will be home to % Arabica, the UAE’s Central Roastery.
Dubai is located almost in the center of the Middle East, and more than 90% of its area is desert.
The design concept of “sand ripples（Ripple marks）” is inspired by the regular undulations of the desert world.
The lighting scheme is based on the image of sunlight shining through the clouds, with spacious sofas rhythmically embedded in the stair-like space with multiple gentle curves.
The three heads of the Chemex standlights, inspired by vertical pillar cacti, point in different directions, and the retail stage, which grows vertically from the floor, has a lovely form resembling a pillar cactus with its arms outstretched to the side.
At the top of the seating area are booth-shaped sofas, where you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee in a luxurious, slow-moving setting.
