Designer's Note
“The concept is inspired by a continuous paper roll flowing through the space, with the brand’s symbol expressed through paper art integrated into the door and window frames. Traditional Chinese elements are introduced through yellow Chemex pendant lights, a color associated with prosperity, good fortune, and imperial heritage, together with warm timber and a soft dome-shaped ceiling. The furniture follows the brand’s standard language, with stools placed by the windows to enjoy the water views and group seating arranged opposite, featuring a wooden Chemex bench. Together, these elements create a calm and welcoming space that reflects the brand while responding naturally to its surroundings.”
