Designer's Note
“Surrounded by many commercial towers and office buildings, the store boasts its prime position as the heart of a relaxing and chill space.
The interior space mainly includes three layers: the furniture, the dome structure, and the greenery. The two opposite entrance doors divide the store into two spaces, the counter and the seating area. The white dome structure, the core element of the design, constantly changes in size and shape, creating the feeling of a free-form tunnel that attracts customers from different viewpoints. The existence of the mesh material and indoor plants play a role as an ambiguous partition between indoor and outdoor seating to ensure adequate comfort and privacy.
The outdoor seating area has iconic Chemex picnic tables and some planters to blend well with the surroundings. % signs are visible to all customers coming from different directions and even from the above floors of the neighboring buildings. “
